For the purposes of this project, I’m defining the area as roughly a circle with a radius of about 30 miles, centered on my “home base” near Augustana College in Rock Island. This means that some areas of potential interest for Quad Cities theatre-goers — areas like the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids corridor in Iowa; Galesburg and Monmouth, IL; Mt. Carroll, IL, with the Timber Lake Playhouse; Dixon, IL, with Dixon Stage Left — are outside what I’m planning to cover!
